God has been generous with us, and He invites us to reflect that same generosity in our lives. The way we use what He has entrusted to us reveals our hearts, proclaims the gospel, and helps meet the needs of our parish and wider community. Together, we have the opportunity to glorify God not only in word and worship, but also through faithful financial stewardship.
Weekly tithing is a faithful and consistent act of stewardship that supports the ongoing life and mission of the parish. Through regular giving, we help sustain worship, ministries, outreach, and the day-to-day needs of our church community, making it possible to serve others and glorify God together.
Church pledges help the church plan its budget and support worship, outreach, staff, maintenance, and community needs. They also show commitment and shared responsibility. Pledges are usually made toward the end of the year for the next year's budget planning.
Building fund maintenance projects and special projects are important because they help turn vision into lasting impact. Building fund projects provide the physical space and resources needed for people to gather, serve, learn, and grow. They create a foundation that supports ministry, community outreach, and future generations.
A Legacy Estate Fund allows you to extend your stewardship beyond your lifetime through a planned gift. It is a meaningful way to honor your faith, support future generations, and leave a lasting legacy of generosity.
Such gifts help sustain the Mission and Vision of All Saints of the Desert, as demonstrated by the estates of Marvin E. Smith and Annette and Bill Brooks.
The estates of Marvin E. Smith and Annette and Bill Brooks made possible the "Smith-Brooks Lighting Project". Through this fund, All Saints of the Desert updated the 50-year-old church and campus with energy-saving lighting, modern lighting controls, and improved wiring in the Main Sanctuary, Narthex, Nave, upstairs storage areas, Chapel, Sacristy, and Audio Room. Emergency fixtures across the campus were also updated to meet current code safety standards.
This project shows how generosity can benefit those who follow in lasting and meaningful ways. As a parish, we are deeply grateful for their generous spirits.
May God bless them as they have blessed us!
