OUTREACH PROGRAMS

Outreach Programs put our faith into action by serving our neighbors and honoring the dignity of every person. Grounded in our baptismal covenant, these ministries connect worship with firsthand service—feeding the hungry, supporting vulnerable communities, and extending Christ’s love beyond the walls of our church.

Adam’s Wheelchairs:
We provide financial support to Adam’s Wheelchairs, an organization dedicated to supplying mobility aids to families who would otherwise be unable to afford them. Through this ministry, recipients gain not only wheelchairs but also renewed independence and the opportunity for a more active life.

Benevilla:
As a founding member of Benevilla, we continue to support its mission to promote health, independence, and dignity for our neighbors. Our parish is proud to contribute financially to the ongoing work and ministry of this vital community organization.

Chapel Rock / Camp Genesis:
Each year we offer camperships to help fund Camp Genesis, held at Chapel Rock. This meaningful camp experience serves children who have an incarcerated immediate family member, providing them with a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

Christmas Toy Drive:
In partnership with the Surprise Police Department, we collect new, unwrapped toys each year to help make Christmas brighter for underprivileged children in the Surprise community.

 Habitat for Humanity:
Habitat for Humanity creates safe, adequate, and affordable housing for individuals and families facing homelessness or substandard living conditions. Parishioners from All Saints of the Desert actively participate in building projects each year as part of this ministry.

Lions Club:
We collect used and outdated eyeglasses, which are then donated to the Sun City chapter of Lions Club International, helping restore vision and improve quality of life for those in need.

Navajoland:
Warm winter clothing donated throughout the year is gathered and delivered each fall to the Diocese of Navajoland. These items are distributed to our brothers and sisters in Christ, where harsh winter conditions make such clothing essential.

Scouting America:
Once a month, our parish hall hosts meetings of the White Tanks chapter of Scouting America’s National Honor Society, the Order of the Arrow, providing a welcoming space for youth leadership and service.

Thrift Shop:
Our Thrift Shoppe "It's Saturday" supports parish operations and outreach ministries while serving the Sun City community with affordable, gently used items. Beyond its financial contributions, the shop provides a warm and welcoming gathering place where neighbors can connect and build community. Items that exceed the needs or capacity of our Thrift Shoppe are donated to Thrive, an organization that serves biological families who are separated—or at risk of separation—due to a lack of basic resources.

Twelve Step Groups:
All Saints of the Desert hosts eight Alcoholics Anonymous groups and one Al‑Anon group each week. These groups meet free of charge, offering support, healing, and fellowship in a safe and welcoming environment.

U.S. Vets:
Once a month, parish volunteers prepare and deliver a nutritious meal to veterans residing at the U.S. Vets shelter in Phoenix, serving one hundred—or more—individuals at each visit.

Valley View Community Foodbank:
We support Valley View Community Food Bank through financial contributions and a monthly food drive, providing nutritious, non‑perishable food to help address hunger in our community.
